The New Zealand blogosphere sometimes resembles two opposing medieval armies on the field of battle ready to charge. The thing about running blindly into a fight with your sword drawn, is that in the heat of the moment you usually forget what the fight was about. Politics is ugly, confrontational and harsh. Enter The Co-Op. Comprised of young(ish) writers of varying ideological and political perspectives, The Co-Op seeks to provide a new generation of voices on the issues of the day. We are the ghost generation, the children of Roger and Ruth, the ones who will have to pay for everything in the end. And if we are being stiffed with the bill, you might as well hear our opinion on it.
